I am honored to have been a part of a young dancer's journey. It has been very rewarding to see former students dance for the BYU Ballroom youth and college teams as they got older. I love seeing their early love for ballroom grow to that level of skill and enjoyment. Thanks to Danzinskule, that early interest can be fostered into opportunities for an enriching life through dance. I did not come from a place with early or affordable opportunities for dance, and it is a real gift to children in Utah schools to be able to experience ballroom, and if they choose, it can springboard them into many more opportunities.
